They struck an OK balance between epic and cheesiness IMHO. Most of the time.

For those of you who don’t read PvP and who have played D&D: PvP on LotR at the Oscars.

If it was a period piece about the ivory trade you know it would be a shoe-in.

  2. I assume the poster mentions the ivory trade as a reference to Merchant-Ivory pictures. They are so named because the producer-director team is made up of a guy named Merchant and a guy named Ivory, not because their movies have anything to do with the smuggling of elephant tusks.
