Columbus Day is a federal holiday, so I have been free today to get ready for dinner tonight: driving home from PA; picking up my suit and impulsively buying a tuy and shoes to accompany; going to Supercuts for a super cut; re-reading my briefing on Ghana from the US State Department; researching which knot to use with my tie tonight.

I’ll be meeting—I think he’s a captain in the Ghana army—my student for the first time tonight. I hope we get along and have a good time while he is here studying peacekeeping and international law.

I finished the Ludlum book on the return drive; I attoned by putting The Cherry Orchard on; I comforted byself by starting Sense and Sensibility, finally.

Ok, I’m pooped. Maybe I’ll upload pictures later.
