Dinner at 171 Atwells Ave, Providence. · Jan 8, 08:53 PM

Last night I drove into Providence with several friends for dinner on Federal Hill. After walking up and down the Atwells Ave., we settled on the smoky little Andino’s. We should have made reservations before the walking, but were able to pass most of the wait at a desert bar several blocks west on Atwells. Dinner was cheap and amazingly excellent, but our waiter was—awkwardly—a little too obsequious and just not quite gay enough to pull it off.

Rating: “I want to go back”

It’s cramped, an attribute short people will probably find charming, but the food is really good, and that’s not counting the sauce, which is like three pounds of butter in a two pound jar full of yummy spices and such. “Deliciousity!”
