Walking around, taking shots · Jan 9, 11:20 PM

It was September when I arrived with my car full of junk and a head swimming in the new strangeness of this place. It was September, so there were a few weeks before the deep chill of winter would set in, and I used the sunny time to walk around with my camera.

The Cliff Walk runs along Aquidneck Island’s southeast corner, and is thick with tourists all summer. I took some pictures, and walked from First Beach on a wide path of asphault and conrcrete past The Breakers and past an unexpected pagoda to where the sidewalk ends.

How different the shore is here—all black rock, smashing wave, and sea spray!

The rest of the pictures are here.

  2. I agree with Katie. Those are very good pictures with your small camera.

I guess size does not matter, just how you use it! ;-)

At least I know what I can look for when I come up to see you. Yin    Jan 11, 03:35 PM    #

  4. A Grammar Lesson for Yin
Two sentences that should never be paired together:
“I guess size does not matter, just how you use it! ;-)”
    and
“At least I know what I can look for when I come up to see you.”
