Having been lazy, I’m forcing myself to re-learn all the characters I’ve already learned. This sequence of sentences occurs in lesson 3.

山上有没有下雨?
山上下大雨。
山上马上下大雨。
山上明明下大雨。

Taken as a dialog, it reads like this:

Q: “On the mountain, is it raining?”
A: “It is raining on the mountain a lot.”

Q: “It is raining on the mountain a lot right now.”
A: “Duh.”

That’s culture-spanning comedy, and a good incentive for learning.
