The Man Who Came to Dinner · Apr 18, 09:14 PM

An egotistic world-famous radio man finds himself stuck in some rich bumpkin’s home, confined to a wheelchair. He promptly expells the family to the upper floor, confiscates the living room as his own, and demands exlusive use of the house telephone. Nathan Lane plays the part.

It’s funny and well acted, with a couple over-the-top performances—e.g. Byron Jennings as Beverley Carlton. The energy is there.

Summary: A hard laugh
Directed: Jay Sandrich, 2000.
