Hong Kong I (April 26) · Apr 25, 11:13 PM

I’m unhappy here. It’s hot, dirty, and expensive. A 90 day visa for China costs almost 200 USD because I have a USA passport. I haven’t been out to eat anywhere, and I haven’t seen anything. I left half a dozen errands in Tokyo undone to catch the flight. My ribs are probably bruised or cracked, which means a couple weeks of uncomfort—though it was worth it, ... maybe. Worst of all (and the easiest to correct, thankfully), I didn’t get much sleep last night.

If I can recover myself today I may go shopping for a cell phone tomorrow.

I’ve spent thirty minutes each morning exercizing in Victory Park, a stone’s throw from the Wang Fat hostel. Though if you threw a stone, you’d hit Starbucks, Calvin Clein, Diesel, and an Armani Exchange first.

No pictures this time.
