I had fun at Burning Man. Yes, that’s all I’m going to write about it. And yes, I plan on going back for at least next year.

I got sick in Florida, with a nasty three day fever that came within a decimal point of 103. Then I hung out with friends. Then I drove north to DC to hang out with more friends and get hooking on Battlestar Galactica. Then I drove to New York to hang out with good friends. Then I returned to Newport, RI. I’m in the one-bedroom first-floor apartment next door to my last flat — same land-lord.

Work is just like it was when I left. I installed a black box behind the stereo in my Ford Focus to add a line in; now I can listen to my iPod on the road. My first generation 1G shuffle was a useless, damnably fashionable block of plastic for a couple weeks thanks to iTunes 7. It’s back working now; Apple released a special reset program. I also bought headphones so I can use Skype to call my friends around the world. That purchase was unnecessarily traumatic thanks to a known flaw in the Dell 600m laptop. Finally, I’ve finally started working out daily — half an hour or so.

No, I haven’t taken any more pictures. And I lost my notebook. The one with vertical stripes of different colors on the cover. Maybe in New York, I’m not sure.
