I had a first post all done and then forgot to publish it. You’ll miss the amusing story of how I hunkered down for the new year’s holiday with beer and movies… gay movies: All Over the Guy, Latter Days, Love! Valor! Compassion!, Red Dirt, Longtime Companion, and arguably Midnight Cowboy, but it’s really more of a period piece that goes well with David Frum’s How We Got Here: The 70’s.

I also didn’t make any resolutions, but I’m back to Chinese tapes on the way to work. I also drove up to train with Dan Harden again. I also cleaned up the apartment.

Life is good, except for the collapsed arch in my foot and the cracked molar with a cavity and my generally wonky-jawed bite, but that’s why we have dentists and orthodontistry.

I even took pictures.
