(1) I get to do my taxes by hand this year because I have taxable interest (1040 line 8b) and realized capital gain/loss (1040 line 13), which requires documentation on Schedule D. Furthermore — and this is the clincher — I had open Section 1256 Contracts at both the start and the end of the year, whose value had to be marked to market and the gain or loss documented on Form 6781.

(2) Poignantly: the show with zefrank is almost done. I was a lazy-butt and didn’t contribute video to the sportsracer show, making the pre-colonated adverb appropriate.

(3) 300 is tearing up a storm in the IMDB ratings. I went with a handful of guys after training and missed the first 15 minutes. It executes itself as an atmospheric graphic novel very well. The story did not engage me emotionally, but quite recommendable.
