My Spring Weekend · Apr 29, 09:41 PM

I bought Half-life on Friday. The best part about not ever playing computer games is that when I do, the market has already sorted out all the best-in-show efforts. Grim Fandango may be next; it’s an adventure game that everyone seems to agree was fantastically amazing.

On Saturday I did nothing except work through my new game on Medium, which definitely wasn’t hard. Later, Chuck and I sat down for sushi at Sea Shai in Middletown. I had: a tuna roll, a spicy tuna roll, a Mexican roll, and eel sushi. Chuck’s order was similar, and towards the end of our meal, the chef handed us strange, yummy, tuna salad things (uncooked fish on a small bed of noodles and seaweed with a wasabi mayonnaise drop on the side). We both agree: thumbs up!

Today I went for a workout in the park across the street, and pushed myself to lower stances that I’m used to. Afterwards I passed out watching the recent Godzilla remake. I joined Ann and Les for dinner and we chatted up ideas for Burning Man outfiture.

Yay, pleasant weekend.

  1. Remarkably pleasant. I started my ‘stay-at-home’ spree on the 1st and am now having remarkably pleasant days every day this month.
