This is totally mundane news, but I checked out a place that two URI graduate biology students have over the bridge in North Kingston, RI. The one who met me is pleasantly friendly. What’s more, the household has a PS and Xbox that’s used for Halo. Feels very much like a grad-student house.

The place I saw today is panties cheaper than where I’m at in downtown Newport, but I’ve already got plans for what I would have saved the first month: Xbox 360 + Halo 3 = (talking to the dog voice) “Who’s a Big Dork?!?”.

Totally mundane, like I said, but I’m really happy at the prospect of getting some decent roommates for my next year here. More than that: looking for roommates is mad addictive. According to my imagination, the possibilities are exciting. This is better than Stargate SG-1 and Law and Order: SVU re-runs put together, and totally worth staying up past my bed-time.
